NORTH LOGAN – Cache Valley residents are being offered the chance to chat with a leading candidate for U.S. Senate in an informal setting.
U.S. Rep. John Curtis (R-UT) will visit North Logan on the evening of Wednesday, May 29. He will be the guest of Tim and Marcia Stewart during an open house at the Stewart residence at 587 East, 2200 North in North Logan.
“You are invited to our home for an evening with to meet and talk with Congressman Curtis,” said Tim Stewart.
Curtis is in the running to replace outgoing Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) in the Senate and is the frontrunner, according to recent polling.
“We are pleased to announced that Congressman Blake Moore will be joining us also,” Tim Stewart adds.
Moore is running for re-election to his 1st District seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.
The Stewarts are encouraging everyone to bring their friends and family to the open house event for light refreshments, to play yard games and to reconnect with neighbor and friends.
The event, which is scheduled from 7 to 8:30 p.m., is being jointly sponsored by the Stewarts and Patrick Jenkins.
