BRIGHAM CITY — An ATV crash in Box Elder County injured a 12-year-old boy and 26-year-old woman. The accident occurred around 6 p.m. Sunday in West Corinne.
Box Elder County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Cade Palmer said deputies found that the boy was driving the four-wheeler and the woman was riding with him.
Deputies suspect the driver braked hard and turned left to avoid crashing into the back of another ATV that had slowed to make a turn.
The four-wheeler tipped onto its side, throwing both occupants. The driver and passenger were not wearing helmets and received minor injuries.
In addition to deputies, emergency crews from the Corinne Fire Department and Brigham City EMS responded to the crash.
