BRIGHAM CITY — A single vehicle rollover Friday night killed one person and sent four others to the hospital. The accident was reported around 10:40 p.m. along East Promontory Road, northwest of Brigham City.
Box Elder County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Cade Palmer said deputies along with other emergency crews responded to the crash. One of the occupants was pronounced dead at the scene. Three other occupants were transported by medical helicopter to hospitals and the remaining occupant was driven by ambulance to the Brigham City Community Hospital.
The occupants of the vehicle were between 15 – 19 years of age. Their identities and injuries are not being released, pending notification of family.
Palmer said the cause of the crash has not yet been determined. It remains under investigation.
