A meet and greet has been scheduled for rivals of U.S. Rep. Blake Moore (R-UT) and state Sen. Scott Sandall at the Cache County Historic Courthouse in Logan at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, April 7.

CACHE COUNTY – The state delegates of Cache and Box Elder counties are hosting a meet and greet with candidates for Utah’s 1st Congressional District and Utah’s Senate District 1.

The forum is being held at the Cache County Historic Courthouse, at 199 North Main Street in Logan.

The meet and greet will begin at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, April 7 and the candidate forum will begin at 7 p.m.

All five Republican candidates for the seat in the 1st congressional district will be in attendance.

They are the incumbent U.S. Rep. Blake Moore (R-UT); former intelligence officer Andrew Badger; Ogden businessman William Campbell; former Morgan county commissioner Tina Cannon; and Vineyard mayor Julie Fullmer.

Moore will be in Washington D.C. for House votes; he will attend via proxy and video recording.

Both GOP candidates for the Utah District 1 Senate seat will also be in attendance. They are Sen. Scott Sandall (R-Dist. 1) and businesswoman Camille Knudson.

The event will be moderated by Bob McEntee of Weber County.

McEntee is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. He has served a GOP precinct chair; legislative district chair; state and county delegate; and a member of the Utah GOP executive committee. Currently, McEntee is a member of the board of the Utah Platform Republican PAC.

The event is being organized by Ashley S. Baker and Layne Beck, Republican delegates for Cache County.
