LOGAN – Utah State University has announced the newest class of Huntsman Scholars, recognizing 20 students from high schools across Cache Valley for their academic achievement, leadership potential and personal drive.

The students were selected for the Huntsman Scholar Program at USU’s Jon M. Huntsman School of Business, a four-year program designed to support students academically, professionally and personally.

The program includes one-on-one mentorship from professionals and peers, hands-on learning opportunities through immersive labs, international experiences and a $1,000 scholarship each semester. Organizers say the program is intended to help students develop leadership skills, build strong professional foundations and connect with a community of like-minded peers.

This year’s class includes students from Green Canyon, Logan, Ridgeline, Sky View and Mountain Crest high schools.

The Huntsman Scholar Program is housed in the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State, based in Logan.

For students in Cache Valley, the selection marks the beginning of a college experience centered on service, professional development, leadership and global learning.
