LOGAN – It’s back — for its 21st year — the annual “Blood Battle” between Utah State University and Weber State. It is a blood drive to see which school can get the most life-saving donations in support of the American Red Cross.
Tuesday through Friday (Sept. 3-6) donors of all blood types are asked to come to USU’s Taggart Student Center Lounges, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. each day.
Almost 20,000 units of blood have been donated since 2003 by the two schools combined; USU has won the competition each of the last five years.
Appointments are preferred but walk-ins will be welcomed on a first-come, first-served basis. Students, staff, faculty and community members are all encouraged to donate.
A 2024 Blood Battle T-shirt goes to each donor.
