LOGAN — A 57-year-old man was hospitalized after a vehicle/bicycle crash Thursday night. The accident was reported just after 5 p.m. at 100 West 400 North in Logan.
The Logan City Police Department said the bicyclist was riding through a red light in the intersection when they were stuck by a vehicle.
The man was conscious but bleeding from his head after the crash. He was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. Police said the injuries he sustained were non-life threatening.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement.
Police officers are investigating possible alcohol intoxication on the part of the cyclist as possible factors in the crash.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
