NORTH LOGAN — Among the communities observing the state holiday Pioneer Day, North Logan has a full day planned on Monday, July 24th.
Events include: Charity Fun Run at 7a.m., this will be held at the south end of Elk Ridge Park.
A Pickleball Tournament will be held at the courts east of the HSC building (the old RSL building). Mixed games will play on Saturday , then the championships on Monday.
Enjoy a hearty Breakfast from 7a.m. to 9a.m. Monday morning at the Lions building at Elk Ridge Park.
Take part in a Fishing Contest at 8a.m. at King Nature Park at the mouth of Green Canyon.
The North Logan Pioneer Day Parade will take place at 10a.m., the route starts at 1600 East, 1900 North (then will follow the route north on 1600 East, West on 2100 North, then north again on 1200 East, finishing at Elk Ridge Park.
Pioneer activities will be held from 11a.m. to 1p.m.at Elk Ridge Park, featuring vendors, games, food and bouncy castles free of charge! Kid’s races , up to age 12, start at 1130a.m.
The BMX Bike Race will take place from 330p.m. to 5pm. for all ages.
Performances of “The Widow’s Lazy Daughter” will take place on Saturday, July 22nd at 4p.m. and 7p.m. and also on Monday at 2p.m. and 4p.m. The Irish fairytale musical will take place for the whole family at the church building at 1105 E 2100 North.
Other events include a Charity BBQ and Bingo game at 530p.m. in the Lions building at Elk Ridge Park.
A Movie in the Park at 845p.m at the south end of Elk Ridge Park featuring Disney’s Zootopia.
Fireworks end the day at 10p.m. at the south end of Elk Ridge Park. For more information: northlogancity.org
