A series of residential and commercial buildings were leveled on 300 North between Main Street and 100 West to make way for a new mixed-used apartment complex.

LOGAN – First it was the Emporium, then the Logan Library, followed by dilapidated buildings at approximately 321 North Main. Demolition crews have been busy in Logan. And earlier this week crews knocked down residential and commercial buildings on 300 South.

Renewal, a mixed use residential apartment complex, will be built at 300 North and 100 West in Logan.

The older buildings were demolished to make way for a new mixed use apartment complex and corner bistro on the corner of 300 North and 100 West. The project, titled “Renewal“, is being done by Triiio Group, LLC and will feature 69 residential units and a 1,400 square foot bistro located on the corner of 300 North and 100 West.

After first being proposed in January 2021, the project was approved by the Logan Planning Commission on August 12, 2021 and will include joint use patios as well as electric bike and electric vehicle charging stations.

Triiio Group will receive $250,000 from Logan’s Redevelopment Agency Affordable Housing Fund upon completion of the project.

The apartment complex is one of several recently completed, under construction or proposed to be built in or near downtown Logan. The Seasons on Mill Creek, a 75-unit apartment complex, recently completed construction on the corner of 100 South and 100 West. Currently, a 108-unit apartment complex is under construction by L59 Multifamily LLC along 100 East between 200 South and 100 South.

Other apartment complexes in Logan have recently been proposed, such as the Brickyard at 800 North 50 West (a four story residential apartment building with 24 three-bedroom units plus a 1,500 square foot commercial building); Westfield Lofts at 1115  West 130 South (44 residential units above commercial/warehouse space); 261 East 300 North (a three story, 12-unit complex that will replace the existing structure on the property); and, Gateway Apartments at 721 South 100 West (a 62-unit apartment complex located behind the Adams Wealth Advisors building).

Several residential neighborhoods in Logan City have also been recently proposed, including 44 homes in the area of 200 West and 600 North and 30 homes in the area of 1800 South 1600 West.
