June 13, 1933 ~ March 5, 2024 (age 90)

On the morning of March 5, 2024, our precious wife, mother, and grandmother slipped away, with her husband by her side. She will be missed by everyone that loved her. She was born on June 13, 1933, to Henry Herbert Pett and Nellie Louise Young Pett. She was the youngest of 4 sisters and 2 brothers.

She had a beautiful singing voice and was a member of the Box Elder Symphonic Choir. She sang many solos with her high soprano voice. When she would practice, and the windows were open the whole neighborhood could hear her how beautiful she sang.

She met and married the love of her life, Alfred Mervin Anderson on June 30, 1950. They enjoyed 73 years together. They spent their lives in Brigham City.

She worked at Brigham’s Lady Wear Stores, Helen Royer’s, and Sonoma’s, and loved it, she made many friends there.

She was a great decorator as you could see in her home. She enjoyed being a grandma, making sure their bellies were full and they had their jackets on! She loved her family immensely and they in turn, LOVED HER! She loved going on trips, even if it was just a picnic.

She is survived by her husband Alfred Mervin Anderson, 2 daughters Debra (Randy) Cefalo, Julie (Joe) Shinkle and one son, Jerry (Kim) Anderson, 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Special thanks are extended to CNS Homehealth and Hospice for the tender care they took of Mildred.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary 205 South 100 East Brigham City, UT.
