LOGAN — Police are looking for a driver who they said fled the scene of a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a motorcyclist.

Logan City Police Lt. Barry Parslow said the crash reportedly occurred at approximately 3:45 p.m. on Saturday in Logan.

A Chevy Silverado was allegedly traveling westbound on 700 North while a white GMC pickup truck was going northbound on Main St.

Parslow said the driver of the white GMC pickup went through a red light and crashed into the Chevy Silverado, which then collided with a motorcycle stopped at the light.

The motorcyclist was not identified, but officers said he was a 48-year-old man. He was taken to a local hospital in serious condition.

Parslow said the driver of the Chevy stayed at the scene, but the GMC driver fled northbound.

Witnesses at the scene described the GMC driver as a white man with a beard who was wearing a red shirt.

Police are currently searching for the driver, and anyone with information about the driver should contact dispatch.
