LOGAN – The Logan Aquatic Center will officially open for its 2024 summer season at noon on Memorial Day.

Operated by the Parks & Recreation Division of Logan City, the Aquatic Center will begin seven days a week activities for residents on Monday, May 27.

Holiday hours at the pool complex will be 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. and will be observed on Memorial Day (May 27), Independence Day (July 4), Pioneer Day (July 24) and Labor Day (Sept. 2).

Regular hours at the Aquatic Center will be 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Mondays; 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesdays through Saturdays; and 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.

During its summer season, the Aquatic Center provides a variety of programs including swimming lessons, water aerobics, a hydro-fit class, lap swimming, fit-for-life seniors and Boy Scouts of America merit badge classes.

Lifeguard training and water safety instruction are also offered.

The Aquatic Center accommodates a maximum capacity of approximately 1,200 people. It features 800,000 gallons of water in three separate pools – a 50-Meter, Olympic-size lap pool measuring 50 meters by 25 yards; a leisure/kiddy pool with depths ranging from 6 inches to 3 feet; and a speed slide pool.

The Logan Aquatic Center is located at 451 South, 500 West in Logan.
