LOGAN — Jed Grunig, the director of elementary schools for the Logan City School District, has been named the 2025–2026 Supervisor of the Year by the Utah Association of Elementary School Principals (UAESP).
The award recognizes educational leaders whose influence extends beyond individual schools to impact districts as a whole. According to the UAESP, the honor is presented to supervisors who demonstrate exceptional leadership, support the professional development of school administrators, and champion practices that improve teaching and learning.
Under Grunig’s direction, the Logan City School District has seen significant systemic advancements across its elementary schools in recent years. District officials noted that these improvements are the result of concerted efforts by teachers and administrators to raise academic standards.
While recognized for his individual vision and service, Grunig credited the award to the collective commitment and expertise of the educators throughout the Logan City School District.
