POCATELLO, Idaho — A 72-year-old Arimo man died Monday night after losing control of his vehicle on a curve south of Pocatello, authorities said.
The single-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 9:51 p.m. near the intersection of Mink Creek Road and Wright Lane in Power County.
According to the Idaho State Police, the man was driving a Genesis G80 southbound on Mink Creek Road when he failed to negotiate a curve, causing him to lose control of the sedan.
The driver was not wearing a seat belt and succumbed to his injuries at the scene. His identity has not yet been publicly released.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
