December 28, 1958 ~ June 12, 2023 (age 64)

Our dear mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend returned home to her loving Heavenly Father on Tuesday, June 12, 2023. She was born on December 28, 1958, to Ronald Bird Garrett and Janeen Parkinson. She graduated from Box Elder High School in 1977.

Gaylene was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she enjoyed being in Cub Scouts as a Den Mother.

She married the love of her life, Kevin Nebeker, on September 14, 1979, in Brigham City, Utah. They were married for 43 wonderful years.

Gaylene was a member of CERT and HOG (Harley Owner Group).

She enjoyed many different crafts that she used to decorate her home and share with her family and friends. She enjoyed the outdoors and working in her yard. She had fun riding Harley’s and ATV’s. She loved baking cookies and bread for her family, having family BBQ’s and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling and spending time in Yellowstone, South Dakota, and most of the Western United States.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Willard/Perry Police Departments and First Responders, and the doctors and staff at Utah Hematology/Oncology.

Gaylene is survived by her dear husband: Kevin; mother: Janeen Garrett; mother-in-law: Klea Nebeker; children: Casey Richard (Lindsey) Nebeker, Rylee Jo (Oliver) Brown; siblings: Ronda (Keith) Hardy, Bruce (Teresa) Garrett, and Teri Scothern; grandchildren: Jack Brown, Emma Brown, Gracey Nebeker, and Garret Nebeker.

She is preceded in death by her father: Ronald Garrett and her father-in-law: Richard Nebeker.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. at the Willard City Cemetery, 470 North Main Street, Willard, Utah.

A Viewing will be held prior to the graveside service at 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 South 100 East, Brigham City, Utah.
