LOGAN – After the final buzzer sounded Friday night, the Utah High School Activities Association began tabulating its final RPI rankings of the season for boys and girls basketball. Saturday afternoon they released the final standings and playoff pairings for the upcoming playoffs. Sky View narrowly retained its top spot among the boys over Dixie (.687 compared to .686) and Ridgeline remained the #2 team among the girls.

Because Sky View, Ridgeline, Bear River and Green Canyon are in the top 10 of the final rankings, they earn a first round bye for the upcoming playoffs. The first round for boys basketball is Tuesday, February 18th and the second round will be Saturday, February 22nd. All games initially scheduled to be played at 7 p.m.

All games initially scheduled to be played at 7 p.m. The playoffs will provide at least one Region 11 rematch, with the potential for a one more in the 2nd round. Sky View and Logan split their regular season series with each school winning on the road.
