Elaine Auger, 69, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2002 from pneumonia after a strong fight against cancer. She was surrounded by her family at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah. Elaine was born August 7th, 1952 in North Logan, Utah. She was educated at Sky View High School, and attended Utah State State University for two years before marrying Lazell Auger, whom she met on a blind date set up by a friend. They married June 14, 1972 in the Logan, UT temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Work required moving frequently, and their growing family spent time in Utah, California, and Idaho, before settling in Kemmerer, Wyoming to finish raising their children. Her work put her in contact with most of the town at one point or another, and she was well-known for the kindness and good humor she showed to all who met her. Elaine was active in church, and greatly enjoyed the callings in which she served. Having a green thumb, she took satisfaction in cultivating a substantial vegetable garden, and spent many happy days camping with her family. 4-Wheeler rides in the mountains with her husband and visiting friends and family were some of her most enjoyable pastimes.  Above all else, there was nothing more important to her than her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Brigham Auger; and parents, Hyrum and Ruth Ormond.

She is survived by her husband, Lazell Auger;  two sons: Brian Auger and Jeremy Auger, and daughter, JennyLyn Little. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; three sisters, and four brothers: David Ormond, Carolyn Miller, RaNae Forsberg, Raeburn Ormond, Daniel Ormond, Mareen Moosman, and Allan Ormond.
