JEFFERSON COUNTY, Idaho — Law enforcement has narrowed the timeline of when two teenagers left their home in southeast Idaho to possibly travel to northern Utah. At the same time, the vehicle they may have been traveling in is unclear.

Monday, an AMBER Alert was issued for 13-year-old Allen Larand Fischer and 15-year-old Rachelle Leray Fischer. The two teens were reported missing from Monteview, Idaho after sheriff’s deputies said they may have gone to Cache Valley, due to what law enforcement described as “religious beliefs.”

Tuesday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said detectives have been unable to find concrete evidence regarding a vehicle Rachelle and Allen Fischer may have left in. Deputies have confirmed that the gray Honda or Hyundai sedan with a Utah license plate that was previously reported as being involved, has not travelled to Idaho during the time the teens went missing.

Allen is described as 5’9″, 135 pounds, with longer sandy blonde hair and blue eyes. Rachelle is 5’5″, 135 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

The Amber Alert added that the two children may be with adult siblings, headed to a FLDS Group. The sheriff’s office added the children may be returning to Trenton, Utah, — where they previously lived — “due to religious beliefs.”

Their sister, 18-year-old Elintra Dee Fischer, was reported missing on Jan. 1, 2023, and has not yet been located, deputies said.

Tuesday’s update noted that detectives have narrowed down the time frame that the children went missing, to Sunday June 22nd between the hours of 6 and 8 p.m. It is unsure if they have left the immediate area or are still close by.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is asking that the public please report any possible sightings of Rachelle and Allen by calling our dispatch center at 208-745-9210 option 7 or dialing 911 for your local law enforcement.
