Debra (Deby) Lynne Holbrook Smith of Snowville, Utah passed away March 3, 2022 from complications of Covid. Deby was born on October 20, 1956 in Ontario Oregon to Ann Baker Holbrook. Deby attended elementary and junior high school in Fullerton, CA and high school in New Plymouth, Idaho where she met and married the love of her life, Larry Dennis Smith on November 30, 1974.

Deby enjoyed being a wife, mother and grandmother. Deby took great joy spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed camping trips with her family. Deby worked at Mollie’s Cafe in Snowville and was a wonderful cook. After that Deby worked for a number of years at Autoliv. Later she worked at the Flying J in Snowville where she enjoyed working with both her coworkers and the public. Deby enjoyed the people in her life and had life long friendships with school friends from both California and Idaho, as well as other friends who came into her life. She was always there to share a smile and a story.

Deby was an excellent seamstress and took joy in sewing beautiful quilts for all her grandchildren and great grandchildren and other babies born into the family.

Deby is survived by her husband Dennis, her children Carrie Smith (Karson), Jeremy (Brooke) Smith, Robin Alberts (Mike), and Jason (Krichele) Smith; Grandchildren Bailey Edwards, Kelbie (Colter) Sweeten, Shayleigh Smith, A.J. Alberts, Cooper Knight, Carter, Wheeler, Mollie and Lexi Smith, and Great Grandchildren Remi, Kimber and Hesston Sweeten, step father Bill Balter, her sister Dorothy (Bart) Munson and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 12th, 2022, from 11 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. at the Snowville LDS Church (75 N 100 E- Snowville, UT ) with a graveside to follow at the Snowville Cemetery at 1 P.M. A luncheon will be held following the graveside at the Snowville LDS Church for family and friends.

While flowers are welcome but not necessary, the family also asks that friends and family email their favorite memories, favorite things about, or pictures of Deby to debymemorial@gmail.com to add to a memorial book for her family.
