LOGAN — Emergency crews were called to Beaver Creek Lodge after two people were injured while horseback riding. The incident was reported Saturday afternoon near the lodge in Logan Canyon.
According to the Logan City Fire Department, paramedics along with Cache County Search & Rescue teams responded to the recreation area after two individuals were bucked off of separate horses. They each sustained serious injuries.
An Intermountain Life Flight helicopter was also paged to the incident due to the circumstances.
The fire department said one patient was airlifted from the scene and transported to Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City. The other individual was transported by ambulance to Intermountain Logan Regional Hospital.
