The Cache Valley Event Center, located at 450 S. 500 W. at the Cache County Fairgrounds in Logan, will be be the place to be for bargain hunters from September 19th through the 21st.

Pam Thompson and her daughter and daughter-in-law bought the franchise nine years ago. It has become a big success and women mark their calendars to pay a visit to the event. They started taking Vintage Market Days to St George a couple of years ago to pick up that area.

“Right now, it seems like we have a lot of women coming to Vintage Market Days,” she said. “We are really a family event.”

This event is touted as being an upscale vintage-inspired indoor market featuring a variety of original art, antiques, clothing, jewelry, handmade treasures, home décor, outdoor furnishings, consumable yummies, seasonal plantings and a little more.

“We would like to see more children, men and pets here,” Thompson said. “I think there is enough variety to attract more than women.”

Trinity Conover from the Rustic Rose in Ogden had original hand grenades out on display.

“I found a box of 40 of these hand grenades in a house, once” he said. “They were practice grenades.”

He has the grenades for sale and he also has a bunch of vintage toy cars still in the box.

“We had a store in Ogden called the Rustic Rose until a couple of years ago,” Conover said. “The economy got to us. We do about four of these kinds of shows a year.”

There are vintage book booths, Christmas decor and clothing booths and more.

Vintage Market Days continues to grow in other states as well.

These events are so much more than a flea market. Each Vintage Market Days event is a unique opportunity for vendors from all over the region to display their handmade goods, talents and passions for creative arts.

Although Vintage Market Days is not as big as the County Fair, the Cruise In and some of the other events that come to the Event Center it is a big deal to a lot of people.
