LOGAN — Utah State University officials are urging people on campus to use caution after a coyote was spotted near a student facility.
According to a campus safety alert, the coyote was seen near the west side of the Taggart Student Center.
University officials advised everyone in the area to remain alert, stay aware of their surroundings, and avoid approaching the wild animal.
“Do not approach the animal,” the university warned in its safety alert. “Be aware of your surroundings and remain alert while in the area.”
