MALAD CITY, Idaho — A 50-year-old Utah man was airlifted to a hospital Friday evening following a single-vehicle motorcycle crash just south of Malad City.
The Idaho State Police responded to the incident at 6:08 p.m. on southbound Old Highway 191 near East 6700 South in Oneida County.
According to investigators, the Corinne resident was riding a Harley-Davidson FLS when the motorcycle veered off the roadway and crashed into a nearby field. Authorities noted the man was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
He was transported by air ambulance to a local hospital for treatment. The man’s identity and extent of his injuries was not immediately released.
The Idaho State Police is continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
