WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Blake Moore (R-UT) will observe the dubious occasion of Tax Day 2026 by hosting a Telephone Town Hall for his constituents on Wednesday, April 15.

That question and answer session will be held at 7 p.m. Mountain Time, about five hours prior to the 2026 deadline for the submission of state and federal income tax filings.

The specific topic for this session will the historic tax relief provided to Utahns and other tax-payers by the so-called “One Big Beautiful Bill.”

Moore is inviting his 2nd District constituents to call in to learn about the improvements Utahns will see on their tax returns and to ask other questions by calling 833-305-1678.

Thanks to a recent court-ordered reshuffling of the state’s congressional districts, most of Moore’s previous 1st District constituents now reside in what has become Utah’s 2nd District.

Moore’s recent legislative efforts have included fighting to protect religious organizations’ right to live out their beliefs without government penalty, because defending the First Amendment means they should never abandon their core values.

The congressman’s efforts have also focused on largely unregulated prediction markets that facilitate gambling in places like Utah where it would otherwise be illegal.

“Gambling on wars, elections and terrorism is wrong,” Moore argues. “I’m leading the fight to shut it down, close the loopholes and protect our state.”

Others involved in that initiative include Gov. Spencer Cox, Attorney General Derek Brown and Sen. John Curtis (R-UT).
