August 31, 1995 ~ March 19, 2023 (age 27)

Our dear brother, uncle, and friend, Trevor Nelson, returned home to his loving Heavenly Father on Sunday, March 19, 2023. He was born on August 31, 1995 to Michael Aaron Nelson and Stephanie Ann Monson in South Jordan, Utah.

He was raised in Arizona and moved to Brigham City, Utah in 2016. He attended Peterson Elementary School and Post Butte High School.

Trevor is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He was an accomplished plumber.

Trevor enjoyed video games and he loved horses and dinosaurs. He was an ultimate Harry Potter and Nightmare Before Christmas Fan. He adored children, especially his nieces and nephews. Spending time in the outdoors camping and hunting was refreshing to his soul.

He was very adventurous, outgoing, kind, a hard worker and embraced the motto “I solemnly swear I am up to no good.” He’s loved by his family and friends and will be dearly missed.

Trevor is survived by his parents: Stephanie and Shannon Steinmiller and Michel Aaron Nelson; sisters: Kayla Anderson (Zach), Hayle Despain, Ashley Goodson; grandparents: Michel and Donnell Nelson; aunts and uncles: Kimberly and Scott Benson, Karrie James, Julie Jessen, Scott and Trish Monson, Michael and Nichole Monson, Shelia and Craig Pulsipher, Gregg Nelson, Russie and Jed Edwards, Brent and April Nelson, and Jessie and Alice Nelson; nieces and nephews: Axel, Jayden, Kassius, Ashton, Atrayu, Charli, and Kaison.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Karen Wayman, Rex Monson; aunt: Renee Wayman, uncles: Dennis Wayman and Kennith Wayman; great-grandparents: Charlene and Larry Wayman, Martha and Montell Monson, Donald and Marie Anderson, Laverne and Merv Tanner.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the Brigham City 19th Ward, 105 Fishburn Drive, Brigham City, Utah.

A viewing will be held prior to the service from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the church.

Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
