CACHE COUNTY – Today is the last chance for registered voters here in Cache County to cast their ballots in any of the eight communities holding primary municipal elections.

Those municipalities are Hyrum, Lewiston, Logan, North Logan, Providence, Richmond, Smithfield and Wellsville, according to County Clerk Bryson Behm.

Those municipal primaries will be administered by the Cache County Clerk Office.

Under a recent change to state law, postmarks will no longer be accepted as proof of timely ballot submission. For a ballot to be counted in the upcoming primary election, it must have arrived at the Cache County Clerk’s Office not later than 8 p.m. tonight.
