LOGAN – The Rotary Club of Logan is the recent beneficiary of a $3,000 donation to support the group’s ongoing efforts to support local high school students and elementary schools. D.L. Evans Bank selected the Rotary Club for the donation because its members are service oriented as they try to find ways to give back to their local community while making lasting friendships.

The funds donated will primarily be allocated towards scholarships for aspiring students at Utah State University and Bridgerland Technical College. This investment in education will empower individuals within the community to pursue higher learning opportunities and achieve their academic goals. Additionally, a portion of the donation will be utilized to procure dictionaries for elementary schools, enriching the educational experience for young learners. The club donates dictionaries to every 3rd grade classroom in Cache and Rich counties.

The Rotary Club of Logan, known for their commitment to service and fostering enduring connections, expressed their gratitude for being chosen as a recipient of the gift. Through their dedication to the local community, they strive to make a positive impact while cultivating meaningful friendships.

To mark the contribution, the team from D.L. Evans Bank presented a check to Rotary Club Secretary Gary Garnand at their Logan branch on May 25th.
