April 6, 1950 – January 1, 2020 – (age 69)

Rosann Goldsberry Wilson, 69, of Paradise, Utah passed away quietly in her daughter’s home in Hyrum, Utah early Wednesday, January 1, 2020 surrounded by family. She fought a long and courageous fight with a rare form of cancer. She was born in Logan, Utah on April 6, 1950 to Vincent B. and Ferris L. Shaw Goldsberry of Paradise where she was also raised. Rosann graduated from Sky View High School, lived and worked in Reno, Nevada, and soon after married Dee H. Wilson of Logan, her former husband, and had six children. With his service in the military, together as a family they traveled and lived in various parts of the world including MA, Okinawa, Japan, CA, OR, and NY.

Rosann attended Dutchess Community College in NY and became a CNA. She used her natural gift to care selflessly for others as she supported and raised her six children as a single mother. She later returned home to Paradise with most of her children and helped to lovingly care for her elderly mother. Rosann also worked for Bourns Inc. in Logan doing quality control for nearly 20 years. She enjoyed being in nature, camping, target shooting, going on road trips, and serving in church callings as a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She also enjoyed contributing as an active member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and being a devoted mother and grandmother endearingly known by her 13 grandchildren as “Meemaw”.

Rosann was a patient and humble example of faith, love, and charity not only to her friends and family, but to those she came across. Her quiet strength, selfless ways, and forgiving heart defined the kind and gentle person she was. She devoted everything she had to her family and is survived and greatly missed by her six children: Amber (Bryan) Stewart, Mark (Marisa), Christine (Dan) Ely, Ezra (Sarah), Johnathon (Onalee) and Barbara Wilson along with her 13 grandchildren: Daniel, Michael, Kelsea, Anthony, Alexander, Courtney, Kimberly, Aeryn, Eli, C. J., Isaac, Elizabeth, Bellavee, and also her one great-grandchild: Carson. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Reneal (Bob) Trimble and is also survived by her other siblings: Lynn (Susan), Gordon (Audrie) and Clinton (Denise).

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 6:00 – 8:00pm at Allen Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center St, Logan, Utah and on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 from 10:30 – 11:30am prior to the funeral services at the south Paradise church building, 155 East 9400 South, Paradise, Utah. The funeral services will begin at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at the church with a dedication of the grave to follow at the Paradise cemetery.
