LOGAN – There is help for a subset of former Utah State University students who left school before completing a degree.
If they’re planning to return to school after a break of at least two years and are within 40 credits of completing their degree — and if they will commit to complete their degree within 18 months — there are resources available to make it happen.
The Ivory Foundation Completion Scholarship is available to former USU students who meet the criteria, which includes a willingness to begin classes the fall of 2024.
The Clark & Christine Ivory Foundation stands ready to award scholarships meant to provide a boost of financial support toward tuition and fees for the final stretch of their undergraduate education at USU.
Some students returning to college after a long break may find some of their credits have expired or their prior major has been discontinued.
An option for them might be completion degrees like the Integrated Studies BS which offers flexibility in terms of curriculum options because coursework can be completed on campus or entirely online.

Application for the Ivory Scholarship is open now for fall 2024 and interested students can apply at usu.edu/collaborative/ivory_scholarship.
