ONEIDA COUNTY, Idaho — A 55-year-old Preston man died Thursday afternoon following a single-vehicle motorcycle crash north of Malad City, according to the Idaho State Police.
The fatal incident occurred at approximately 1:20 p.m. on Deep Creek Road near 110 West that runs between Weston and Malad City.
Authorities report the man was traveling northbound on a 2015 Harley-Davidson FLTRX when he failed to properly negotiate a curve in the road. The motorcycle subsequently veered off the roadway and crashed.
The rider succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. His identity has not yet been publicly released.
The Idaho State Police is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
