LOGAN – Taking advantage of continuing good weather, local officials here have scheduled three more “Laub Plaza Splash n’ Movie Night” events in coming weeks.

Building on the public response to the free movie and popcorn night on Aug. 16, when the feature film was the animated classic “Finding Nemo,” the Logan Parks and Recreation Division has now slated screenings of other films during late August and September.

Leading off the family fun events will be “Zootopia” from Disney Animation Studios at 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 30.

Two weeks later, Logan City will present “Toy Story,” a Pixar animated film at 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13.

Finally, the Disney classic “Frozen” will be screened at 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27.

Families are advised to provide their own seating at the Carol and Jim Laub Plaza by bringing their own folding chairs.

The Carol and Jim Laub Plaza is located to 55 North Main Street in downtown Logan.
