LOGAN — One of the two men who pleaded guilty to stealing several handguns from a pawn shop was sentenced Tuesday morning, in 1st District Court.

Court records show Tyler Jenson was sentenced to 180-days in jail and three-years-probation.

The 24-year-old Hyde Park resident pleaded guilty in June to two charges of theft, both second-degree felonies, one charge of burglary, a third-degree felony and two charges of possession of a controlled substance, both third-degree felonies.

Jenson and 27-year-old Cody Naser of Providence, broke into Fast Cache Pawn in February. They stole several handguns and later disposed of them in the the Bear River, near Amalga.

Naser has also pleaded guilty and is scheduled to be sentenced September 15.
