LOGAN – The Logan Aquatic Center has announced new hours for its public swim schedule.

Starting on Monday, Aug. 19, the Aquatic Center’s hours will be confined to Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays for the remainder of its 2024 season.

City recreation officials say that change is necessary due to the resumption of fall school hours for the Aquatic Center’s lifeguards and other staff.

The Aquatic Center hours for public swimming will be reduced to 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 19 and Monday, Aug. 26.

Similar hours will be in effect for Wednesday, Aug. 21 and Wednesday, Aug. 28.

The Aquatic Center will be closed on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays after Aug. 19

On Saturday, Aug. 24 and Saturday, Aug. 31, the Aquatic Center’s hours will be 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The Aquatic Center will be open for public swimming on Sunday, Aug. 25 and Sunday, Sept. 1 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The Aquatic Center will be open on Labor Day (Sunday, Sept. 2) from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Officials say the Labor Day will be the final swim day of the 2024 season.
