LOGAN — A North Logan couple has been arrested for allegedly barging into a home and assaulting a woman, according to law enforcement. Kurn Erakdrik, 35, and Antonia Erakdrik, 38, were booked Friday night into the Cache County Jail.

According to an arrest affidavit, Cache County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the residence after the alleged victim claimed Kurn and Antonia had entered her home through the front door. Antonia then allegedly started slapping and hitting her.

Deputies reported the woman had scratch marks on the left side of her neck that were red and bleeding.

According to court records, Kurn Erakdrik is on probation after previously being convicted of driving under the influence and reckless driving.  

Monday, prosecutors with the Cache County Attorney’s Office filed criminal charges against the suspects in Logan’s 1st District Court. Kurn was charged with aggravated burglary, a first-degree felony. Antonia was charged with aggravated burglary, a first-degree felony; and assault, a class B misdemeanor.

According to jail records, both suspects are being held temporarily without bail. They could face up to life in prison, if convicted.

Individuals arrested and charged in complaints are presumed innocent unless or until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in court.
