JEFFERSON COUNTY, Idaho — An AMBER Alert has been issued for two teenagers who could be travelling from southeast Idaho to northern Utah, according to law enforcement. The two teens were reported missing from Monteview, Idaho after sheriff’s deputies said they may have gone to Cache Valley, due to what law enforcement described as “religious beliefs.”
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said it received a report on Saturday, June 22, that 13-year-old Allen Larand Fischer and 15-year-old Rachelle Leray Fischer had left their home and may be traveling in a gray Honda or Hyundai sedan with Utah license plate, 4BYT6.
Their sister, 18-year-old Elintra Dee Fischer, was reported missing on Jan. 1, 2023, and has not yet been located, deputies said.
Allen is described as 5’9″, 135 pounds, with longer sandy blonde hair and blue eyes. Rachelle is 5’5″, 135 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
The Amber Alert added that the two children may be with adult siblings, headed to a FLDS Group.
The sheriff’s office said the children may be returning to Trenton, Utah, — where they previously lived — “due to religious beliefs.” No further details were provided.
