July 19, 1945 – July 20, 2022 (age 77)
Miracles and dynamite seem small and prove their place. So it was with May Elizabeth Young, the pygmy who grew into an ancient savage with finesse like no other.
The Universe willing, May touched lives and hearts. She created a community of love, sharing and caring through her own example of selflessness.
Always allowing herself the minimal, May generously donated to many local charities – especially the Food Pantry – and always anonymously.
May has now traveled into the next journey the Universe was willing to bring and is no longer “passing for vertical.”
A celebration of life will be held on August 25, 2022 at the North Pavillion at Merlin Olsen Park from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Please bring your stories to share and a fruit or vegetable based dish to share if you choose.
