February 1, 1937 — March 1, 2024 (age 87)

Margaret Jamison Plowman, 87, passed away peacefully at home on March 1, 2024 at her home in Logan, Utah.

Margaret was born in Franklin, Idaho, on February 1, 1937, the youngest child of William Reed and Maggie Jamison. She graduated from Preston High School in 1955. She met Alan Plowman in the Logan Hospital, where he was recovering from a broken leg. They began dating and were married on February 12, 1958, in the Logan Temple.

Margaret worked for 37 years in the medical records department at Logan Hospital. While raising her children, she became certified as an Accredited Records Technician. She also typed papers for college students and sold Avon for many years.

Margaret was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She held many callings in the church, including Primary and Young Women’s. Her true love was Primary children and Cub Scouts.

She is survived by one brother, Terrell (Paddi) Jamison, Bountiful, Utah, and her five children, Robert (Jan), Tempe, Arizona; Brian (Janet), Pocatello, Idaho; Sandra Cazier, Logan, Utah; Michael (Hollie) Payson, Utah Tamara (Brian) Ellis, Logan, Utah, and David (Terrellee) Hodges, Logan, Utah. She is survived by 20 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, and 1 great, great-granddaughter.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Alan, her sister Lorraine, and her two brothers Delmar and Milo Ray.

The family wishes to thank CNS Hospice, especially Holly and LaNay, for their exceptional care during her last two months—also, a special thanks to Dr. Steven Salisbury and his staff and Webb Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024, at 11 am at the Logan 16th Ward Chapel, 125 West 600 North, Logan, Utah.

Viewings will be held Thursday, March 7, from 6-8 pm and March 8, from 9:30- 10:30 am both at the church.

Interment will be in the Franklin, Idaho Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Webb Funeral Home of Preston, Idaho.
