LOGAN — A man died in a single-vehicle rollover crash Wednesday afternoon. The accident was reported around 3:30 p.m. near 3075 S. US-89/91.

Logan City Police Capt. Shand Nazer said the man was driving along the highway when he crossed over the center lane. The car then rolled, ending on its side.

According to emergency radio communication at the time, witnesses to the crash attempted to provide CPR until paramedics arrived.

Nazer said the man was transported to Logan Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The man’s identity has not been released, pending notification of family.

There were no other vehicles reportedly involved in the crash.

Nazer said a woman was in the passenger seat but did not sustain any major injuries.

A crash reconstruction team was called to try and determine the cause of the accident.

Nazer said it was too early in the investigation to know whether or not the man was wearing a seat belt, or what caused him to drift off of the road.
