LOGAN – In a sign that summer is finally here in Cache Valley, Logan City officials have announced that the Splash Pad at the Carol and Jim Laub Plaza in downtown will open on Saturday, May 24.

“Come downtown,” officials of the Logan Parks & Recreation Department posted on Facebook. “Cool off and make a splash.”

The community water feature will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on May 24 and will be open daily during those hours Monday through Sunday throughout the summer months.

In addition to the splash pad, officials added, the Laub Plaza also features self-directed games, shaded tables and snacks from local Logan food spots.

Located at 55 North Main Street in downtown Logan, the Carol and Jim Laub Plaza opened to the public in the spring of 2024. It is programmed with activities year-round, including the splash pad/water feature and an outdoor stage.
