LOGAN  — Officials in Logan have announced a modified schedule for Logan City services and facilities during the upcoming Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.

Logan will observe that holiday on Monday, Jan. 19, when all city offices and the Logan Library will be closed. 

Residential and commercial trash and recycling will be collected as usual on Jan. 19, according to a Logan Public Works spokesperson. 

The city landfill will also be open for its regular hours on the MLK holiday.

The Logan River Golf Course will also be closed on Jan. 19, along with the City’s Cemetery Office.

The Logan Community Recreation Center will be open as usual on the MLK holiday, as will the city office at the Carol and Jim Laub Plaza and ice rink in downtown Logan.
