July 10, 1979 ~ January 10, 2023 (age 43)
Kyle LaMonte Nielson, passed away on January 10, 2023, following a month-long battle due to complications of a hip surgery. He was born on July 10, 1979, in Murray, Utah. Born to Chryl Swallow and LaMonte Nielson, the only son with five sisters.
Kyle graduated from Titusville High School in Florida. He moved with his family back to Brigham City, Utah in April of 2005.
Kyle was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was proud to be ordained to the office of an Elder and receive his endowments in the Ogden Temple.
Kyle worked at Walmart for over 10 years and will be dearly missed by his colleagues. He was a member of the Walmart Safety team, helping to maintain a safe place for his coworkers and the customers.
Kyle enjoyed reading, his favorite subject was history and loved learning about the Civil War. He loved sports, especially football and basketball. Kyle bled purple, was a season ticket holder to his favorite team Weber State. He was fanatic for the constitutional rights we were given and very conservative. Kyle was an avid outdoors-man and has many memories with family and close friends camping and ATV riding.
The family would like to thank the hospital staff at McKay Dee hospital for all their love and care given to Kyle this past month.
Kyle is survived by his father LaMonte, sisters: Ruth, Beth, Kim, Lynn and Wendy, and cousins, nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his mother Chryl and his grandparents.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday January 20, 2023, at 12:00 noon with a viewing prior from 10:00 – 11:40 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 South 100 East, Brigham City, Utah.
A private graveside service will be held in the Milton Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Myers Mortuary to help with the funeral expense.
