Kenneth Nolan Barker was born May 6, 1948, in Ogden, UT, to John RL Barker and Florence Helen Campbell. He passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022, with his family by his side. He graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1967. He served a mission in Montana.

He met the love of his life, Cleanne Braegger, in 1966, they were later married in the Salt Lake Temple on October 1, 1968. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in which he served many positions. He was a member of the Lion’s Club. He served in the U.S. Navy and Reserves in the electronic field for more than 15½ years. He then moved his family back home to Utah where he worked for Thiokol as a computer engineer. Among his many accomplishments, Ken owned his own business, Barker Computer, where he traveled and developed programs and patents for many companies. He and his wife also started a family wedding business, Impressions. He also drove a semi for awhile and took his wife with him to see the sites in other states.

He is survived by his wife; children: Jeanette (John) Knudson, Trisha Heath, Kenneth (Sheila) Barker Jr., Rachel (David) McIntire Jr., Anthony (Katherine) Barker, Steven Barker; 19 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, and many honorary children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Siblings: Patricia Archbold, Gerald (LaRee) Barker, Judy (David) Rich, and Cindy (Pastor Garland) King Jr.; Sister-in-laws: Renee Barker and Marilyn Barker. Brother-in-laws: Richard (Debby) Braegger and Rodney (Debbie) Braegger.

He was preceded in death by his parents, special aunt Loraine Barker; siblings: Richard Barker, Betty (Wilford) Martin, Carol LaVell (Don) Smith, Lynn Barker; Robert Barker; sister-in-law Lynette Barker, and brother-in-law Kent Archbold.

Services will be held on Friday, April 1, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Willard 4th Ward Chapel, 80 N 100 W, Willard, UT.

Viewings will be held the night before on Thursday, March 31, 2022, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S 100 E, Brigham City, UT, and prior to the service from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the church house.

Interment will be at the Willard City Cemetery.
