August 24, 1946 – June 15, 2023 (age 76)
Jeri Harker Housley passed away June 15 2023 at Maple Springs in North Logan, Utah. She was loved by so many and enjoyed helping others anytime she could. Her nature was to be kind and compassionate lending a hand when needed.
She was born the youngest of 7 in Idaho Falls Idaho to Bill and Lila Harker on August 24 1946. There she later met her husband Ned Housley. Together they built a home in Richmond, Utah where they raised their two children Tod and Annie.
Her two granddaughters Cortney and Shanda were a highlight of her life and brought her so much happiness and joy. They spent a lot of time together playing games and having sleepovers. Jeri was a talented seamstress, and was constantly crocheting. She was active and liked being outdoors doing all kinds of things from skiing, camping, biking and was open to new adventures.
Jeri had a deep love for her family and friends. Always having an open door inviting them in for a good meal and often maybe even a dip in the hot tub. When spending time with Jeri and Ned there was always laughter and a good time.
Her attention to detail led her to managing American Saving and Loan and also a Dental Practice. She was an active member on the Board of the Women in Business and the Chamber of Commerce. She was driven and a hard worker at whatever endeavor she took on.
Maple Springs and Hospice took such great care and providing comfort especially at the end.
We will always love and miss you mom.
