Our dear sweet Jax Philips passed away in a tragic accident on Wednesday, March 9, 2022. She was born on June 26, 2018, to Danni Phillips and Jovana Esther Sierra, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She attended preschool at Willard Elementary School.
Jax enjoyed music, dancing, food, and watching Pocoyo. She was recently learning to count, which became one of her favorite things. She was so silly and had an infectious laugh. She loved to cuddle and was very affectionate and gave the best hugs.
The family would like to give a special thanks to her teacher, Cheryl Thompson, the staff, and aids at Willard Elementary School. They also give a special thanks to Shara Park and John Wilson.
She’s survived by her parents: Danni and Jovana; grandparents: Darrin and Ana Tea; great-grandparents: Jose Luis and Margarita Gonzalez; cousins: Jaydenn Phillips, Jordinn Phillips, Maesin Ruelas, Maesi Ruelas, Maxsin Ruelas, Maximo Ruelas, and Kosten Tea; Aunts & Uncles: Matthew Phillips (Rebecca), Brooke Ruelas (Abram), Lindsey Phillips, Conner Tea, and Valerie Tea.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary Chapel, 205 South 100 East, Brigham City, Utah.
A viewing will be held prior to the service from 11:30 – 12:30, also at the mortuary.
Interment will be in the Willard City Cemetery.
