James “Scruffy” Varner, 62, of Smithfield, Utah (formerly Glendale, Arizona), passed away on Tuesday, October 3rd, 2023, with his wife Rene, at his side after losing his battle with cancer.
James was born on March 28th, 1961, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, to Lloyd and Anna Varner, who he will be joining in heaven.
He is survived by his wife Rene, daughter Amanda, son-in-law Sawyer and three grandchildren Loralai, Aurora and Soryn, along with family and friends in Arizona, Georgia and Pennsylvania.
His family will be holding a memorial service at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E Center St, Logan, UT 84321, on Wednesday, October 11th, 2023, at 10:00am followed by a burial service at Smithfield City Cemetery at 11:00am.
