Glenn Beck uses a historical book to make a point recently.
WESTON – Popular conservative political radio host Glenn Beck is bringing his valuable historic museum pieces to Cache Valley. He calls it the American Journey Experience and its first stop will be West Side High School, located at 775 North Westside Highway in Dayton.

Dayton City is located approximately 8 miles west of Preston and the display will be up on Friday and Saturday, July 7 and 8.
Beck’s state-of-the-art museum and research library is based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in Texas, but some of his pieces will be going on the road to Southeast Idaho and other stops in Utah.
This is a unique opportunity for those in attendance to see Beck’s huge exhibit featuring his private collection of historical artifacts, including original pieces from our Founding Fathers as they created the constitution. There will also be collections from George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, WW II, the Holocaust, space exploration, and Hollywood.
The American Journey Experience is unlike any traditional museum, it is a guided tour that teaches about the significance of each artifact. The Experience depicts the freedoms and liberties of America expressed through the stories told around each of the items that Glenn has preserved and curated over the past 20 years. Beck’s historical collection is estimated to be worth $75 million.
Visitors will see artifacts that can’t be found anywhere else, including:
- Significant items owned by Presidents Washington, Grant, Teddy Roosevelt, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Lincoln, Reagan, Trump, and Obama
- The 1977 Darth Vader mask, C-3PO, and R2D2
- Bibles from Lincoln, King George III, and King Louis
- Von Staffenburg’s copy of Mein Kampf
- The bloody towel used by Hitler after the bombing of “Valkyrie”

Organizers hope visitors will leave inspired as they learn about the story of our nation throughout the journey of America. All proceeds from this fundraiser will be donated to the West Side School District, The Larsen-Sant Library, and Weston City Events Center.
The American Journey Experience was organized as a place where people can learn the real history of the United States by being immersed in documents, artifacts, and stories that molded this great country.
This experience will be much more than just dates and names. It will be a place where American pioneers and their accomplishments will be brought to life and people can experience history.
The historical artifacts include a myriad of American history antiquities, including Franklin D. Roosevelt’s wheelchair, the second electric chair ever built, the original script for Orson Welles’ “War of the Worlds,” and original letters written by George Washington.
Beck will also have his collection at Weston’s Hometown Homegrown Pioneer Celebration. Festivities will continue Friday and Saturday, July 21 and 22 at the Weston City Park.
All the proceeds will benefit the local school and public library building fund.
The festivities that weekend will be at the Weston City Park on Saturday, July 22 with a parade, food, vendors, games, activities, a free firework show and a live concert by Rough Stock, a country band.

On Tuesday July 25, Beck will take his historical collection to the Colonial Theater in Idaho Falls for a fundraising event sponsored by the Tri-County Sheriffs Association.
