LOGAN — Girl Scouts of the USA launched the 2026 Girl Scout Cookie season Tuesday, introducing a new flavor to the lineup of the world’s largest girl-led entrepreneurial program.
The new cookie, Exploremores, is a rocky road ice cream-inspired sandwich cookie featuring chocolate, marshmallow, and toasted almond-flavored crème. Marsha Campbell, Cache Service Unit Manager, said the addition reflects the “spirit of exploration at the heart of the organization.”
The 2026 lineup also includes classic favorites such as Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, and Adventurefuls. Beyond providing a seasonal treat, the program serves as a primary fundraiser for local councils and troops. All proceeds stay within the local community to fund service projects, troop travel, and summer camps, as well as educational opportunities in STEM and the outdoors.
“With every purchase, consumers directly support local Girl Scouts’ abilities to explore more opportunities,” Campbell said. “Each cookie season, Girl Scouts develop important life skills like goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and marketing tactics.”
This year, Adobe joins as a national sponsor, providing digital literacy tools. Through educational videos on the Digital Cookie platform, Adobe aims to equip scouts with skills in online communication and responsible digital design, helping them become confident digital entrepreneurs.
The cookie season typically runs from January through April, though exact timing varies by region. Consumers can purchase cookies by contacting a local Girl Scout or using the online Girl Scout Cookie Finder. The tool allows customers to locate nearby booths or order cookies to be shipped directly to their homes.
Campbell said cookies are expected to arrive in March and will be delivered by the girls. The 14 troops in Cache Valley also plan to set up booths outside local stores during the spring.
Individuals can also text COOKIES to 59618 to stay informed about local sales. Girls in grades K-12 are eligible to join the organization at any time to participate in the program.
