BERLIN — Police were responding to an explosion Wednesday morning near Augsburg’s main train station in southern Germany, press agency dpa reported.
An unidentified object exploded in a building passageway, officials said. Several people sustained minor injuries. Windows were also damaged.
Road traffic and public transportation in the vicinity of the station are disrupted, the police said. Restrictions are also in place inside the train station.
