November 2, 1930 ~ July 11, 2023 (age 92)
Evan D. Stevens passed away Tuesday July 11, 2023, at the age of 92. He was born Nov. 2, 1930, to Carlos & Martha Stevens.
Beloved husband, father, grandfather & great grandfather. Evan was very proud of serving in the Korean War in the United States Army. He was a master of mechanics, woodwork and was always busy and loved to work. He loved driving semis which he drove for 53 years. He loved to hunt and camp. He had great love for his family and friends and was special to all those who knew him.
He and his wife Patsy were inseparable and were always found together. They were to celebrate their 72nd anniversary on July 20th.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 10 of his siblings and a son-in-law.
He is survived by his wife Patsy, his children Larry Stevens (Kaylynn), Julie Elegante (Tom – deceased), Karen Porter (Rod) and Kurt Stevens (Deborah). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren with two on the way.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Scott Nagao and Symbii Hospice nurses and staff who helped take good care of Evan.
The family will greet friends at a viewing that will be held Wednesday, July 19, 2023 from 6:00-8:00pm at Myers Mortuary 205 South 100 East, Brigham City, UT.
The family will honor Evan’s life in a private celebration and Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery where military honors will be accorded.
