LOGAN – In Cache Valley and surrounding communities, Easter Egg hunts have become a popular tradition for children and their parents.
Here are some Easter egg hunts in and around the area to be held on Saturday, April 4.
Mendon City’s annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday at 9 a.m. at the city square behind the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 20 N. 100 W.
This activity is for children ages 0-11. Please leave all dogs at home for this event and the city is asking for a $1 donation to help defer costs.
Hyrum City is hosting their Easter egg hunt at the city square at 9:00 a.m. sharp for ages 12 and under at City Square, located at 60 W. Main Street.
The Teen Easter Egg Hunt will be held Saturday, April 4 at the Hyrum City Baseball Fields/East Park (700 East Main) at 9:00 p.m. Participants should bring a flashlight. This activity is hosted by the Hyrum City Youth Council.
Wellsville City is hosting their Easter egg hunt at the city square located near 75 S. Center for children 9 and under starting at 9 a.m.
Millville City is hosting an Easter egg hunt on Saturday at Millville South Park. The hunt begins at 9 a.m. sharp and everyone is invited to attend.
Logan City Parks and Recreation will hold an Easter egg/scavenger hunt. Clues will be given on Instagram for the different parks the hunts will be located in. Easter Egg/Scavenger Hunt will begin at 9 a.m. Two parks will be revealed and at 10 a.m. two more parks will be revealed and at 11 a.m. the last two parks will be revealed.
The Downtown Easter Egg Walk in Historic Downtown Logan takes place Saturday.
The Logan Downtown Easter Walk will function similarly to the Logan Downtown Halloween Walk. Businesses will open their doors and welcome families between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. and provide treats to the children and maybe provide moms and dads with promotional materials or incentives.
North Logan held their Easter egg hunt last weekend.
Smithfield Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring their city’s Easter egg hunt on Saturday at 9 a.m. at Sky View High School East Field, located at 315 E. 600 S.
The Lions Club in Preston is sponsoring an Easter egg hunt on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the City Park located at a 200 N. 100 W. in Preston.
Weston is holding their Easter egg hunt sponsored by Woodward Country Store at 10 a.m. on April 4, at the City Park located at 15 East Depot Street. Meet at the grandstands.
Brigham City’s Easter egg hunt is sponsored by Kiwanis Club and will be held in the field next to the pickleball courts, down the street form Pioneer Park on April 4, at 10 a.m.
The Tremonton Kiwanis Club is hosting its annual “Traveling Scavenger Easter Egg Hunt” from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 4 at various locations in Tremonton and Garland. Follow the clues and find the “egg” to lead you to a sweet treat!
The event is for ages 0-12, and you must be present to collect a treat.
Young Powersports, located at 1903 S 800 W in Logan, is hosting an Easter egg hunt on Saturday April 4 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The event is free and offers four age groups with $100 Golden Egg available in each age category. There will also be food, music, and big prizes for the four different age groups.
Nibley is holding a family friendly Easter fun run at 9 a.m. on April 11. Last year the city won an award from Utah Recreation and Parks Association for their Easter activities.
The race and activities for all ages begin at 9 a.m. People should be there early to register and fill out waivers. Kids will chase the Easter bunny in a 1k with obstacles. There is a 5k run for adults and an adaptive roll for people in wheelchairs, strollers or other adaptive vehicles.
The activities should be over by 10:30 a.m.
